Volunteering Webinar – Nugesha Gagnidze
The International Education and Development Academy invited participants to its sixth webinar to discuss the goals and benefits of volunteering and civic activism. The guest speaker was Nugesha Gagnidze, a Germanist, literary scholar, and professor in the German Department of Philology at Akaki Tsereteli State University. She is the author of numerous monographs, scientific studies, and German and Georgian literature translations.
Nugesha Gagnidze is a member of the International Societies of Goethe and Thomas Mann and a laureate of the Grigol Kiknadze Prize and Saba 2022. Since 2023, she has served as the President of the International Soroptimist Women’s Club “Kutaisi-Kolkha.”
The webinar was designed for individuals and representatives of organizations and provided insights into the importance of volunteering. Drawing from her extensive volunteer experience, expertise in literature, and knowledge of the history of sorority women, Nugesha Gagnidze emphasized the value and impact of volunteerism.
