Debate School Competition “My One Minute”
On December 21, participants from the Carl Popper School of Debate of the International Education and Development Academy (IEDA) participated in the “My One Minute” competition at Niko Nikoladze’s Lyceum. The event, organized as part of IEDA’s educational programs, featured students from the Eleventh School of Debate presenting papers on a variety of topics, including Why We Struggle for Change, Pollution of Rivers, Women’s Rights, Pursuit of Purpose, Immigration, Freedom, Human Opportunities, and more.
The prize winners of the competition were as follows:
1st Place: Keta Matskepladze – Topic: Injustice
2nd Place: Gabriel Tkeladze – Topic: Darkness and Light
3rd Place: Amiran Chubinidze – Topic: The Power of Little Action
4th Place: Martha Khutsishvili – Topic: TV Room
5th Place: Merab Kakabadze – Topic: Trace
A distinguished jury, comprising journalist Tata Kachkachishvili, civic education teacher Maka Kachkachishvili, and lawyer Sophio Ormotsadze, assessed the participants.
