Volunteering Webinar – Mari Tsulaia
On November 15, International Education and Development Academy (IEDA) conducted second webinar to discuss the objectives and advantages of volunteering.
The guest speaker for the webinar was Mari Tsulaia, a newly emerging volunteer.
Mari Tsulaia has been engaged in volunteer work since her school years and is currently a student in the Faculty of Ecology and Psychology. Simultaneously, she is actively involved in social work as a youth worker, a certified diver, an extreme speleoguide, a Girl Scout, a herpetologist (snake specialist), a naturalist, and a hiker.
Mari possesses extensive experience both within Georgia and internationally. She volunteers at the Tbilisi Zoo and has participated in numerous youth projects, including international camps.
The webinar highlighted the role of volunteering in fostering personality development.
