Public Speeches and Debates Parliamentary (British) Format

Parliamentary (British) format debates are formal debates that encourage participants to quickly identify issues, analyze them critically, evaluate potential solutions, and express their viewpoints in society while defending them from various perspectives. This educational activity helps participants enhance their ability to assess their ideas’ strengths and weaknesses critically, focus on the core of the problem, and develop their speaking style and confidence in public speaking.

Eter Kvakhadze

Debate Program Trainer since 2001

With 25 years of teaching experience, she has the status of a leading teacher.

Eter Kvakhadze founded a debate club at school and, in parallel with teaching biology, she helped her students participate in summer camps and debate projects of international organizations operating in Georgia – IRI, Civic Development Institute, Open Society Georgia Foundation, etc.

Eter Kvakhadze is a co-founder of the Georgian Educational Debate Association. She has extensive experience as a debate trainer and referee.
