Lia Kiladze

Director, founder 

Lia Kiladze is the founder and director of the Academy of International Education and Development. She has 26 years of experience working in the civil sector and has held various Executive Director and Chairperson of the Board positions in civil organizations, including the Center for Education Development and Employment and the Charitable Humanitarian Center “Abkhazia.”

In 2014, Lia Kiladze served as the Head of the Territorial Office of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories of Georgia in Imereti, Guria, Racha-Lechkhumi, and Kvemo Svaneti. From 2004 to 2006, she was actively involved in implementing the deinstitutionalization reform and was the Director of the Kutaisi Community Center for World Vision Georgia.

Education

Lia Kiladze graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with a Doctorate in Business Administration. She also holds Master’s degrees in Business Management and Engineering-Biotechnology from the Georgian State University of Subtropical Agriculture.

Lia Kiladze is the author and co-author of numerous professional and scientific publications, including:

– “Project Design and Management Guide” (2021);

– “Readings about Volunteering” (2020);

– “Time Bank” (2020).

Award

In 2014, Lia Kiladze was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia for her contribution to supporting displaced compatriots and restoring Georgian-Abkhazian relations.
