Education

Thea Shelia graduated from the Georgian University of Subtropical Agriculture with a major in biotechnology. She underwent training in project cycle management as part of the Danish Refugee Council’s “Towards a Just Society” project for refugees. She was also involved in the Heinrich Böll Foundation’s “Who’s Afraid of Feminism” project and other educational programs.

Specialized in promoting youth engagement and development.

Experience

IEDA Youth Hub Coordinator.

Project Coordinator of the Economic Development and Empowerment Center – EDEC.

Since 2018, Thea has been the Coordinator of the “Future Generation” program in the Imereti region and an employment consultant in the EU-funded project “Learn for Employment!”

Currently, Thea Shelia is a Project Coordinator of the USAID program “Unity in Diversity.”
